James Anthony Gohacki

James “Jim” Anthony Gohacki, 71, husband of over 30 years to Nancy Eshleman Gohacki, entered into rest on Friday, February 15, 2013.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Chapel.

James was loved by everyone that knew him. He enjoyed spending time with his family and they meant the world to him. James was an avid hunter, fisherman, and artist. He also enjoyed playing golf and cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs.

In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Robert John Gohacki (Robin) of Kennesaw, GA, Everett Hazel, Jr. (Rachel) of Anderson, SC, one daughter, Teresa Peeples (Will) of Kennesaw, GA, two sisters, Lois Seik of Washington, PA, Donna Gohacki of Cannonsburg, PA, six grandchildren, James McNeff, Tessa McNeff, Elijah Marcano, Samuel James Gohacki, Liam Peeples, Olivia Hazel, and one great grandchild, Noel McNeff. James was preceded in death by his son, James Anthony Gohacki, Jr. and two daughters, Paula Gohacki and Donna McNeff.
