AUGUSTA – Mr. Hugh Davis Williford, 86, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 in Clermont, Florida.
Graveside services with military funeral honors will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. David Thompson officiating.
Mr. Williford was born in Augusta on August 31, 1921 to Seaborn and Varina Williford. He had lived in Clermont since 2004, after moving from Ft. Lauderdale. He served in Pacific and European Theaters of war in World War II. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor and 101st Airborne 507th PIR in Europe.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marilyn Williford of Clermont, FL., a son, Hugh James Williford, of Orlando, FL., daughter, Samantha Klatt (Kelly), of Orlando, and 5 grandchildren.
