Helen Bess Reid

Evans, GA – Helen “Bess” Reid, 18, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 8, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Trinity on the Hill UMC with Rev. Dr. Mike Cash and Rev. Charlie Stakely officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Helen attended Greenbrier High School where she participated in chorus and FFA. She shared her love for music and song through singing at school and in the community. After achieving her GED, she worked for a short time in Evans. She was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing and photography. This is what Helen did, but not who she was. Helen loved her family and friends with the unconditional love of Christ that appreciated the value of every soul.
Survivors include: her parents, Andy and Liz Reid of Evans, GA; three brothers, David Reid, Sam Reid, Noah Reid all of Evans, GA; paternal grandparents, Charles and Barbara Tant of Appling, GA; maternal grandparents, Carl and Kay Reid of Reidsville, GA; uncles, Stephen Tant of Appling, GA, Brian Reid of Reidsville, GA, and Patrick Reid of Jacksonville, FL; aunt, Julie Lott of North Augusta; and many cousins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
