Harvey Mchenry

Harvey McHenry, 63, of Mesquite, Texas passed away on April 13, 2022.
Harvey McHenry was born in Parkdale, Arkansas to Jimmy McHenry and Elva Jean McHenry on March 24th, 1959. Harvey graduated from Wilmot High School, he married Chin Hui McHenry on August 28th, 1980 in Korea.
He worked as a Postal Clerk for United Postal Service for 22 years. He was a veteran of Desert Storm and served in the Army 20 years and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal 6 times, Foreign Service Award 3rd.
Harvey was involved in Augusta Korean Methodist Church.
Harvey is preceded in death by his wife; Chin Hui, father; Jimmy McHenry, brother; Bobby Earl McHenry.
Harvey is survived by his mother; Elva Jean Martin; sisters; Judie Phillips, Jacklyn Tanzy Ramoun; brothers; Jimmy McHenry Jr.(Tonya), John L McHenry (Stephanie), Randolph McHenry (Louann), Berlyn McHenry.
Memorials may be given to Randolph McHenry.
The family of Harvey wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Pastor Jae Kim, with the Korean Methodist Church. Visitation will be held 10 AM – 11 AM Friday April 29, 2022 at Platts Funeral Home 337 North Belair Road, Evans GA 30809 with a service at 11 AM in the chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home, Jae Kim of Korean Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow Bellevue Memorial Gardens 4501 Wightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA 30813.
