Harriett Tiller Lewis

McCormick, SC---Mrs. Harriet Tiller Lewis, 98, made her journey, to her eternal home, on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Petra Health and Rehab Center.
Her going home celebration will held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, December 9, 2012 in the Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Pastor Sarah Robertson officiating. Interment will be private.
Mrs. Lewis was born in Augusta, Georgia, but lived most of her life and raised her family in Evans, Georgia. She was a charter member of Evans Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick G. Lewis, a daughter, Carolyn L. Adams and a brother, William R. Tiller.
Survivors inclued her daughters, Jean L. Morris, Brenda Ervin, both of Loganville, GA, Sarah Robertson, son, Oren Robertson, both of Plum Branch, SC, brother, Traylor Tiller of Evans, GA, eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and son in law, William A. Adams of McCormick, SC.
The family will receive friends following the service on Sunday, at Platt’s Belair Road.
