Floyd E. Prescott

Augusta, GA---Mr. Floyd E. Prescott, age 95, beloved husband of Loree Toole Prescott entered into rest on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Golden Living Windermere Nursing Home.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at Westover Memorial Park with Mr. Jules Godin and Mr. Bill Gustafson officiating.
Mr. Prescott was retired, after 32 years of service with Georgia Railroad and was in fellowship at Bethany Bible Chapel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hattie Lou Eason Prescott and Linus Prescott, three brothers and two sisters.
In addition to his wife of 69 years, Mr. Prescott is survived by a son, Virgil Prescott (Betty) and a daughter, Connie West (Jim), grandchildren, Ashlyn Hines Meneguzzi (Brian), Franklin, TN, Staci Davidman (Evan), Atlanta, GA, Hillary Fragomeni (Mike), San Mateo, CA and Kelly Smith (Brian), Nashville, TN, great grandchildren, Clayton and Jack Hines and Taylor and Emma Davidman, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends today Tuesday, September 15, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.
