Augusta, GA – Erma Rumbley Hawkes, 91, loving wife of the late James Noel Hawkes, entered into rest on Thursday, July 7, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Platt’s Funeral Home Crawford Ave. Chapel with Rev. Frank Garner officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Survivors include her son; Rodney Hawkes (Catherine) of Martinez, GA, daughter; Kathee Sue Pittman (Sonny) of Augusta, GA, seven grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
If so desired, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 106 SRP Drive, Evans, GA 30809.
