Emma Jean Jones Henderson

Augusta, GA---Mrs. Emma Jean Jones Henderson, 69, entered into rest on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, tomorrow Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Belle-Terrace Presbyterian Church, 2454 Golden Camp Road, Augusta, GA with Reverend Melvin Lowry officiating.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at the Indian Creek Cemetery, in Madison County, Alabama, near Huntsville, AL.
Mrs. Henderson was a native of Madison County, Alabama, but had been a resident of Augusta, for many years. She retired, from the Richmond County Board of Education, as a Teacher’s Assistant, following 28 years of service.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, James B. Henderson, Augusta, GA, sons, Jason Henderson (Maria), Colorado Springs, CO, Jerome Henderson (Nittaya), Augusta, GA, brothers, Robert Jones, Denver Jones, Leslie Jones, Jr., Marcus Jones, sisters, Annie Corbett, Catherine Robinson, Loretta Jones, all of Huntsville, AL, grandchildren, Isaac Henderson, Jessica Henderson, Jeanette Henderson, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of lifetime friends.
The family will receive friends, this evening Thursday, August 19, 2010, at Belle-Terrace Presbyterian Church, 2454 Golden Camp Road, Augusta, GA from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
