Elizabeth Shovlin Sisco

Elizabeth H. Sisco, 78, beloved wife of the late Louis Sisco, entered into rest on December 14, 2020.

Elizabeth was born on October 24, 1942 in Patterson, NJ to the late John Joseph and Elizabeth Theresa Horvath Shovlin. She was a graduate of William Paterson College with a degree in Finance. Elizabeth worked for St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital for 30 years until her retirement in 2003. Following her retirement, she moved to Melbourne, FL and worked part-time as a caregiver for Home Instead. Elizabeth found great joy in caring for people, whether it was family or a stranger. It was her calling in life! She loved entertaining and cooking, and no one ever left the Sisco house hungry.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Kandy Sisco, Kristy Sisco-Emker (James R. Emker), and Kimberly Maiocco; her grandchildren, Chad Sisco-Schwartz (Danielle) of Boonton, NJ, James R. Emker, Jr. and Maxx L. Emker both of Melbourne, FL, and Chloe, Michael, Olivia, and Angelo Maiocco; great-grandson, Odin Schwartz; and by her son-in-law, Keith Tanis. In addition to her husband and parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Sisco Tanis.
