Elise Crow

d. May 5, 2018

Evans, GA - Mildred Elise Paul Crow, much-loved mother, wife, daughter, sister, and aunt, slipped away early Saturday morning May 5, 2018. She was 54 years old.

If you were blessed to know Elise, you read this through tears as we celebrate her life yet mourn the much-too-soon loss of such a beautiful soul. Elise was the heart of her family, loving her “boys” with a fierce passion. Elise’s home was her sanctuary; every space is filled with pictures of her family and reminders of her faith. Elise was a woman of faith, and throughout her life her trust in God never wavered. She adored nature and art, and loved to travel, especially when the destination was the beach. Her favorite song’s lyrics hang in her kitchen. “…I see skies of blue and clouds of white, the bright blessed day, the dark sacred night, and I think to myself, what a wonderful world.” Elise lived by these words, constantly rejoicing in her wonderful life. Elise was funny, and witty, always ready for a good laugh. She was incredibly creative, producing thoughtful cards and gifts for friends and family.

Elise leaves behind her husband Doug, her boys William and Wesley, Her mother Beth, her sister Kay, and nieces Sarah, Emily, Emile, Megan, and Allison.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. A service to celebrate Elise’s life will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Porterfield officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Destino del Reino, destinodelreino.org, to honor Elise’s legacy of giving back, paying it forward, and always, always, always, thinking of others.
