Evans, GA - Edward Richard Prybylski, 87, entered into eternal peace July 7, 2017 in Evans, GA.
Mr. Prybylski was a native of Utica, NY. Ed was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Eileen Marie O’Donnell Prybylski, who he cared for with unceasing devotion as she battled Alzheimer’s for the last twenty years of her life. His family was his passion.
He is survived by two daughters; Kathy Forsyth of Binghamton, NY, Elissa Armstrong of Evans, GA, four sons; Edward M. Prybylski of Jackson, MS, Mark Prybylski of Westminster, MD, Kevin Prybylski of Acworth, GA, Paul Prybylski of Tampa, FL. He was a hero to his 17 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was a mechanical engineering graduate of the class of 1952 of State University of New York Maritime College, and a U.S. Navy veteran serving of the USS Hornet. He was a long-time manager in flight simulation at Singer-Link where he was instrumental in developing much of the technology of modern flight simulators. Ed was an avid tennis player and a lifelong sports fan and fisherman.
A Celebratory Mass with an inurnment alongside his bride at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in their longtime home of Palm Coast, FL will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 5, 2017.
The family asks that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of both Edward and Eileen Prybylski.
