Augusta, GA---Mr. Dudley W. Hogon, Jr., 86, entered into rest on Friday, January 29, 2010 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Memorial services and inurnment will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, February 1, 2010 at the Mausoleum Chapel, at Westover Memorial Park with The Reverend Erwin Veale officiating.
Mr. Hogon, a native of Augusta, was a retired Air Force Officer. He served during World War II and was the recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Purple Heart and the Prisoner of War Medal. He was a communicant of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Fleur S. Upchurch of Columbus, GA, Katherine H. Bradford of Aiken, SC, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Dr. Nanci McPhail and her staff, for the loving care given to Mr. Hogon, during his illness.
