Mrs. Doris Logue Forbes
Augusta, GA – Mrs. Doris Logue Forbes, 101, beloved wife of the late Charles C. Forbes, Jr., entered into rest on Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Golden Living Center.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Brian LaFavor officiating.
Mrs. Forbes was born in Burke County, Georgia to Mr. George Vincent and Mrs. Dessie Dell Harris Logue. She graduated from Waynesboro High School and also was a 1930 graduate of University Hospital Barrett School of Nursing. Mrs. Forbes had been a member of Crawford Avenue Baptist Church since 1931 and was a member of the Esther Ellington Bible Class. She worked until her retirement as a registered nurse and is a member of the University Hospital Nurse Alumni Association. Mrs. Forbes will be remembered as a woman of strong faith who loved her family.
Mrs. Forbes is survived by her two sisters, Agnes Logue Reynolds of Augusta and Elma Logue Economos of Waynesboro; her two grandchildren, Danielle Griner and David McFeeters; her niece, Rosemary Logue Robbins; and also by her five great-grandchilden.
In addition to her husband Mrs. Forbes was preceded in death by her daughter, Doris Forbes McFeeters and her niece Louise Logue Knight.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening March 1, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
