Mr. Dale Stewart McElroy, beloved husband of Sylvia McAllister McElroy, entered into rest on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Doctors Hospital.
The family will hold a celebration of his life at a later date.
Mr. McElroy was born in Los Angeles, California on July 21, 1933 to William and Doris Stewart McElroy. He attended Page Military Academy from 1949 until 1951, while he was a member of the California National Guard. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1951, training as a Reconnaissance Technician. He finished his military service in 1955 and went on to study photography at Mount San Antonio College. He worked as a photo interpreter in classified reconnaissance for Autometric Corporation, Northtrop Aircraft and Polychrome Corporation, and in sales for Fuji and Graphico, where he rose to Vice President of sales. He also taught a night school course on printing in the Richmond, Virginia public school system.
In addition to his wife, Sylvia, he is survived by his children, Terri Patricia Kutzleb, Michael Dale McElroy and Christopher Scott McElroy (Kellie), his grandchildren, Jillian Patrick, Sage McElroy, Jacob McElroy, Matthew McElroy and Joshua McElroy as well as his two great grandchildren, Olivia Kutzleb and Savannah Patrick. He was preceded in death by his sons, Glenn Stewart McElroy and Craig Michael McElroy.
