Clara K. Ford

Augusta, GA – Mrs. Clara K. Ford, 84, went to be with the Lord on November 24, 2012 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at St. Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Broome officiating. Interment to follow in West View Cemetery.

Mrs. Ford was a faithful member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, the French Sunday School Class, Maude C. Smith Circle, and the Monday Morning Crafters.

Mrs. Ford is survived by her daughters, Denise Zamora (Fred) of Augusta, and Janet Hood (John) of Prescott, AR; her son, Ken Ford (Barbara) of Charlotte, NC; her sister, Helen Smith (Ronnie) of Augusta; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Ford, her parents Mary Cheeks Spivey and George Kendrick, and by her brothers Jimmy, George, and Jesse Kendrick.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, November 27, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
