Bruce Cleveland Sfc Chavis, Sr.

GROVETOWN – Mr. Bruce Cleveland Chavis, Sr., beloved husband of Mrs. Linda Kinley Flanigan Chavis, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Charlie Norwood Veteran’s Administration Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Larry Harmon and the Rev. Denny Mack officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

In addition to his wife, Linda, Mr. Chavis is survived by his son, Bruce Chavis, Jr. (Vickie), his daughter, Linda Chavis Tullos (Kenneth), two step sons, Greg Flanigan (Robyn) and Derrick Flanigan, a sister, Flossie Sharpe, as well as eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Roy Ellis, Jimmy Harper, Wayne Collins, Frank Allen, Michael DeCampli, and Jerry Olson.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time.
