Billy Don Hooks

Billy D. Hook, 81 entered eternal rest on Monday, November 29, 2021. Born March 31, 1940 in Andersonville, GA to the late Bennett A. Hooks, Sr. and Alice Elizabeth Usry Hooks. Billy was an avid coin collector and enjoyed reading financial magazines. After retiring from Kendall Medical Manufacturing of 20 years of service, retired from Augusta University Medical Center after 22 years of service (formally Medical College of Georgia), Billy enjoyed staying home with his wife Cindy, and was a devoted husband. Billy is survived by his wife; Cindy Hooks of Evans, GA, sister-in-law; Rosemary Hooks, niece; Rebecca Hooks, nephew; John Hooks all of Charlotte, NC. Billy is predeceased by one brother: Bennett A. Hooks, Jr. Funeral Service for Billy will be held 2:30 PM Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Chapel 377 North Belair Road, Evans, GA 30809 with Chaplin Robert Thompson officiating.
