Betty P. Davidson

Evans, GA – Betty P. Davidson, 86, loving wife of the late John “Jr.” B. Davidson, entered into rest on Monday, February 27, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Warren Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. David McKinley and Rev. Dave Dillard officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.

Betty was a member of Warren Baptist Church, where she served the Lord through her involvement in outreach. She also served during Wednesday evening dinner and was an active member of The Joy Club for many years. Betty loved helping people and will always be remembered for her constant smile and sweet spirit.

Survivors include three daughters; Debra Jean Davidson, Rachel Brewer (Marshal Brewer), Sheryl Tarpley (Dr. Barry Tarpley), four grandchildren; Jason Brewer (Nicole) Deborah Anne Whitfield (Scott), Claire Whitlow (Michael), PVT John Aaron Tarpley (Keirsten), three great grandchildren; Addison Brewer, Sarah-Scott Whitfield, Hampton Whitfield, and many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all of Betty’s caregivers and the entire staff at Marshall Pines for the exceptional care given to Betty.

Pallbearers will be Michael Rhodes, Jason Brewer, Scott Whitfield, John Aaron Tarpley, Michael Whitlow, James Ferrell, and Fred Cooper.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
