Ann Storey Holm

(Melvis) Ann Storey Holm, 80, of Martinez, passed away on the 12th of October 2023 in Augusta.

Ann was born in Augusta to Howard and Louise Storey on the 22nd of October 1942. She went to school in Augusta. She married Svein Holm in Cape Canaveral, Florida on the 10th of December 2015.

She worked as the Manager for Bahama Joes Restaurant for many years and operated her own cleaning business. She participated in the Wymberly social club.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents (Howard and Louise Storey, her siblings (Laverne Boyd, Barbara Quesada, Charles Storey, and Howard (Bubba) Storey.

Ann is survived by her husband, Svein Holm, her daughter Patricial Lynne Gayman, her son Robert Jacob Huegel, her brother Colden Storey, her sister Carol McCarthy, Grandchildren Ashley Johnson, Brantley Huegel, Amber QuattleBaum, and Brittney Snavely Huegel, and her great Grandchildren Kaitlynne Johnson Gracen Snavely and Axel Quattlebaum and her niece Natalie Silvey.

Pallbearers will be Kris Quattlebaum, Bart Bell, Blake Bell, Bo Storey, Doug Winters, and Darryl Hicks.

Memorials, made in Ann's honor, may be given to any preferred charity.

The family of Ann wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Doctor Robert Price and his wonderful staff, and all of Ann’s many friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Platt’s Funeral Home – Evans with Pastor Bryan Cockrell of The Sanctuary Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery. Arrangements are by Platts funeral home.
