MRS. ALLENE RAYLE

Martinez – Mrs. Allene Rayle, 90, wife of the late Charles Rayle, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 15, 1013 at University Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Pastor Bob Purvis and Pastor Dusty Wammack officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.

Mrs. Rayle was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid writer and published her first book of poems at age 88.

She is survived by her son, Steve Rayle, her daughter, Cindy O’Connor (Pat), her grandchildren, Marc O’Connor (Lori), Matt O’Connor (Julie), and Elyse Rayle, her great grandchildren, Jordan O’Connor, Harrison O’Connor, Abby O’Connor and William Bishop. She is also survived by her twin sister, Madeline O’Neal, another sister Barbara Cook, her brothers, Joe Oldham and W.C. Oldham, her special nieces, Paula McGahee and Charlynn Collins, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Marc O’Connor, Matt O’Connor, William Bishop, Len Collins, Trevor Collins and Bernie McGahee.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, May 17, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00PM.
