Alfred E. Suhs

Evans, GA – Alfred E. Suhs, 89, husband of the late Grace D. Suhs, entered into rest on Saturday, March 26, 2011 after a long battle with cancer.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. chapel with Rev. Gaspar Hegedus officiating.

Alfred served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of WWII. He retired from Chicago Bridge and Iron in Memphis, TN.

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Jacobs, Kris D. d’Entremont both of Aiken, SC, one son, Norman Suhs and wife Donna of Madison, AL, one brother, William Suhs and wife Norma of Waveland, MS, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Alfred was preceded in death by his siblings, the late Robert Suhs, the late Carl Suhs, the late Henry Suhs, and the late Gertrude Weiss.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
