Wanda Janell Strickland Martin

Wanda Janell Strickland Martin, 80, joined the love of her life on November 12, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Private graveside services were held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Wanda was born in Augusta, GA to the late Norman K. Strickland and Louise T. Strickland. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Rudolph Strickland (Ella), Bobby Strickland, Malcolm Strickland, Konrad Strickland (Kris) and one sister, Betty S. Davis.

Wanda retired from Walmart as an invoice clerk after 14 years of dedicated service.

Gram, as he was lovingly known to all who met her, was a devoted and loving wife to the late Raymond I. Martin, Jr. of 60 years. They proudly shared three daughters, LouCindy J. Martin of Aiken, SC, Eileen L. Pate (Gary) of Gloverville, SC and Raye M. White (Kevin) of Aiken, SC; three amazing grandchildren, Tim Boyd, James Hope, Jr. and Letitia Hope all of Aiken, SC; four bonus grandchildren, Jacob White (Lauren) of Aiken, SC and Amanda White (Tyler) of Easley, SC; two beautiful great-granddaughters, Kahleesi J. Boyd and Roslynn M. Boyd both of Aiken, SC; her grand fur babies, Nelson, Tipsy, Jack, Cooper, Bear and many other kitty babies
