Toni Jimenez

March 5, 1956 — January 28, 2024

The beloved bride of Jon Jimenez, Toni Kay Jimenez, 66, of Grovetown, Georgia has passed, and the world is a lesser place for it. She lost her five-year struggle with cancer on January 28, 2024. She passed the way she lived, with grace and bravery, and thinking upon her last breath of her family. Her family is humbled to have been blessed by sharing their lives with her.

Toni was born in Long Beach, California to LaValle and Diane Allen on March 5, 1956. She graduated from the University of North Carolina Charlotte with a degree in computer programming. She pursued a master’s degree from George Washington University in project management.

She worked at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions for 28 years as a Senior Information Systems Advisor. But her passions were traveling, reading, sewing, smocking, knitting, quilting, scrapbooking, photography, calligraphy, detailed coloring, and spending time with her family.

Toni is preceded in death by her father, LaValle Allen, and her brother, Gary Lance Allen.

Toni is survived by her husband, Jon Jimenez, children, Kambria Sabo (Jayson), Joshua Brantley (Sylvia), Robert Brantley, stepdaughter, Jessica Jimenez, grandchildren, Christian Sabo, Isabella Sabo, Violet Brantley, Aiden Brantley, Liam Brantley, Emi Kay Brantley, step grandchildren, Shelby Jimenez, Bryson Jimenez, step great grandchildren, Millie Jimenez, Kolton Ashley, mother, Diane Allen, and siblings, John Allen (Judy), and Linda Dworkin.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lungevity (www.lungevity.org) A charity working to improve outcomes and quality of life for lung cancer patients through education, research, and policy reform.

The family of Toni also wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Augusta Oncology, Empyrean Hospice of Georgia, and Professional Case Management for their loving care.
