Scott Michael Catron

Scott Catron walked again into the gates of heaven at the age of 28 years old on Monday, July 31, 2023, after his long battle against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Though he left this world far too soon, he left this world a better place. His smile, wit, and educating conversations will be truly missed by so many.

Born 24 August 1994, Scott had a passion for anime and his collection of anime t-shirts and prints. He graduated from Grovetown High School in May 2013 in the top 10% of his class. He loved to engage in conversation about the nightly dinner table topics and wittingly correct his siblings when they had the wrong facts. He had an unmatched sense of humor that would cause any conversation to stop. He will be missed, but never forgotten! He placed a memory in everyone’s soul he touched.

He is survived by his father, Joseph Catron, his stepmother, Lisa Catron, his mother, Julia White, his brothers, Matthew Catron, Timothy Catron and Gregory Catron, his step-brothers, Douglas Stearley (Karita), Xander Stearley, and his step-sister, Megan Stearley and step-niece, Alice.

A drop-in celebration of life will be held from noon to 2pm on 12 August, 2023, at Scott’s residence. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Associate in honor of Scott.
