Ronald "Ron" Urben Jenke

GROVETOWN - Mr. Ronald Jenke, beloved husband of forty-two years of Sandra Jean Jenke, 75, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

Ron loved God, his family and outdoor activities. He retired from Minneapolis Community College where he taught microbiology. After moving to Georgia, he continued teaching at Augusta University.

He is also survived by his son, John Larson (Grace) of Hilo, HI, his daughter, Drs. Andrea (Keith) Pfeifer of Evans, his brother, Dennis Jenke of Chetek, WI, and four grandchildren, Alena Pfeifer, Jonathan Pfeifer, Gianna Larson, and David Larson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 10 to 11 at Greater Augusta Apostolic Church, 4406 Wrightsboro Rd. A celebration of Ron’s life will follow with Dr. Terry Newsome officiating. Burial service will be at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Social distancing and wearing of masks will be observed.
