Reba Faye Connell

Reba Faye Connell, 87, of Evans entered into eternal rest on
January 22, 2021 at Brandon Wilde Health Center in Evans, GA.

Faye was a native of Englewood, TN but lived in the Augusta area all
of her adult life. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Augusta.
Forever the prettiest girl in the room, she looked forward to her weekly
hair and nail appointments. She loved to travel and enjoyed experiencing
new adventures. Always ready for a trip to Cherokee, NC. or
Hilton Head Island (her second home).
Faye was loved and cherished by her family and friends. She will be dearly
missed by those who were lucky enough to know and love her.

Faye was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Julian Connell.
Her parents; Hugh Alvin Johnson, Sr. and Beulah Johnson of Englewood, TN.
Her brother; Johnny Johnson of Englewood, TN.

She is survived by her daughters; Brenda Smith of Martinez, GA and
Linda Branch (Jim) of Martinez, GA. Her grandchildren; April Diaz (Tony) of
Martinez, GA; Ashton Branch of Lake Oconee, GA; Chris Herrin (Jennifer)
of Grovetown, GA and William Borella of Grovetown, GA. Her brothers;
Ray Johnson (Linda) of Englewood, TN and Alvin Johnson (Henrietta) of
Englewood, TN. Sister-in-law; Joyce Johnson of Athens, TN.
Six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Thank you to all the staff at Brandon Wilde for their compassionate care
and kindness. ( Erin, Dana, Suzanne, Trish, Amy, James; who always
brightened her day. And so many others.)

Special thank you to Betty for all her love and kindness.

In honor of her wishes, her ashes will be scattered at Hilton Head Island
along with her beloved husband. Due to current health restrictions a
memorial service will be held at a later date in Hilton Head, SC.
