Raylah Mclemore

January 17, 2004 — November 1, 2022

Miss Raylah Nicole McLemore entered into rest on Early Monday morning, October 31, 2022 in Stephens County, Ga.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 7, 2022 at the Bicentennial Chapel on Fort Gordon.

Raylah was a member of the Grovetown High School Class of 2022 and was employed as a shift leader at Diablo’s Southwest Grill. She will be remembered as a free spirit with a love for nature and animals. Raylah was a talented artist and loved both sketching and painting. She enjoyed hanging out with her friends and watching movies. Raylah had the best laugh and an amazing sense of humor. Even through her struggles, she always went out of her way to be kind to others and always tried to have a positive outlook. When Raylah was a toddler, she refused to eat green beans, when one day she stood up in the chair, put her hands on her hips and said “Dun-dunt-a-dun Super Bean, saving people everywhere from green beans.” From that day forward her daddy called her Super Bean.

She is survived by her mother, Kristen Okiyih, step-father, Lawrence, and her father, Kelly McLemore; her brothers and sister, Kyle McLemore, Isaac Okiyih and Mia Okiyih; her grandparents, John and Joan Emerson and Robert and Sandra McLemore; her God-parents Colonel John, US Army, and Christie Sandor; aunts Lauren Hollingsworth, Holly Sparks and Shan-Trell DeJesus; uncles, Shawn Sparks and Patrick Okiyih, and numerous cousins.

If so desired, memorials in her honor may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
