Mrs. Peggy Moss, beloved wife of Gerald Moss, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, May 10, 2024 in the Crawford Avenue Chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home with Pastor Toby Skrine officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.

Mrs. Moss was born in Statesboro, Georgia to James and DeAlva Foote, but lived the majority of her life in Augusta. In 1970, she married the love of her life, Gerald Moss. She worked in various clerical positions at Fort Eisenhower for over 30 years before retiring. She loved the ocean and spending time at Edisto and Myrtle Beach and was an avid Augusta Lynx fan. She was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her husband, Gerald, she is survived by her daughter and son in law, Stephanie and Michael Meredith. Her parents, James and DeAlva preceded her in death.
