Paul Hearn

Retired MSgt. Paul F. Hearn, 87, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at his residence.

Paul was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Paul and Beatrice Hearn on November 20, 1936.

He worked for SRS. He was a veteran of Vietnam and served in the Army. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW post 649 and past commander of the post.

He was an avid Braves fan and loved watching football - especially Georgia, Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons. He also had a great love for golf and his trains. He also enjoyed playing pinochle.

Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Inge; parents, Paul and Beatrice; brothers, Marion and George Hearn and sister-in-law, Edith Seitz.

Paul is survived by nephew, Scot Hearn of Seaford, DE; niece, Andrea Kunkel of Germany along with several other nieces and nephews.

The family of Paul wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Kim Schnorbus for the loving care she provided over the years. We would also like to thank Francis and Eddie Key.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 6-8pm at Platts Funeral Home - Belair Road.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the disabled veterans organization.
