Neal Stahl

Evans, GA – Neal Garreth Stahl, 64, entered into rest on Saturday July 12, 2008 at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center.

A funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday July 17, 2008 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. chapel with Dr. Eddie West officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with military honors.

Mr. Stahl retired from the Army after 24 years of service. He was a Vietnam veteran. After retirement, Mr. Stahl worked as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher for 20 years. He devoted himself to helping others. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend.

Survivors include three sons, David Neal Stahl and wife Debbie of Evans, Brian Edward Stahl of Middleburg, FL, and John Matthew Stahl of Evans, one daughter, Melissa Marie Hickson and husband Bobby of North Augusta, SC, one brother Geoffrey Stahl of Waretown, NJ, one sister, Lynette A. Houser of Wyandotte, MI, and five grandchildren, David Michael Stahl, Mitchell Aaron Stahl, Bobby Hickson Jr., Rick Hickson, and Danny Hickson. Mr. Stahl was preceded in death by one brother, the late Richard Stahl of Mayslanding, NJ.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday July 16, 2008 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd.
