Lloyd David Brown

Lloyd David Brown, 89, passed away on 3-14-2024 in Augusta, GA. Lloyd was born in Dickson City, PA to Charles and Sarah Brown on 10-6-1934.

Mr. Brown attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. After many years in the corporate world and moving to Augusta, he worked for several years at Sunbelt Nissan as a car salesman. While there, he earned several Salesman of the Month awards. Mr. Brown was a veteran and served in the Army during the Korean War.

He was involved in many different roles over the years in his home churches.

Mr. Brown is preceded in death by both of his parents, older brother and sister, wife of 39 years Alice Eide Brown and wife of 7 years Jeanie Baker Brown. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Geiger (Alan), son Glen Brown (Christy), grandchildren Emily & Eric Geiger, Hannah & Jacob Springfield, Carly Tse (Ryan), and great-grandchild Jocelyn Tse.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to The Sanctuary Church, Evans, GA. The family of Mr. Brown would like to thank the Charlie Norwood VA for all his medical care and Martha Evans and Ann Rolland for helping with his care.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, at 12:00 noon at The Sanctuary Church, 4584 Cox Rd, Evans, GA. Arrangements are made by Platt’s Funeral Home, Evans, GA. The family will receive friends one hour before the service (11:00am)
