Linda Pearl Crawford

October 23, 1947 — January 11, 2024

Linda Pearl LeClair Crawford, 76, of Lincolnton, Georgia entered into rest January 11, 2024 after a brief illness. She was born October 23, 1947 in Augusta, Georgia, to Henry LeClair Sr and Louise W. LeClair who preceded her in death.

Linda worked several years at both St Joseph’s Hospital and MGW.

Linda was a devoted mother, a grandmother and a Meely Miley with a heart full of goodness. She was a great philanthropist- donating to causes such as St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the Catholic Church and many others near and dear to her heart. She was a devoted Catholic with an unyielding love for God. She enjoyed Clint Eastwood movies, Pepsi, bingo, jeopardy and watching Nick at Night. She was also a mathematical and crossword puzzle genius, whom we all admired.

She is also preceded in death by her husband and soulmate Richard Crawford, her brothers Larry LeClair, Henry LeClair, Raymond LeClair, and Eddie J. Leclair, Sr.  and sister Louise Ciamillo.

She is survived by her only son Mark (Melinda) Crawford, Lincolnton, GA and three grandchildren, Mark Jr (Leslie) Crawford, Clark’s Hill SC, Cara (Donnie) Knollenberg, Martinez GA and Matthew Crawford, Lincolnton, GA, one great-grandson, Ezra Knollenberg, Martinez, GA, two Godsons, William (Monroe) Cawthorne, Jr, Augusta, GA and Raymond LeClair Jr, Martinez, GA, two Goddaughters, Andrea Lagos, Braselton, GA and Lisa Christian, Charleston, SC, as well as six sisters and two brothers.

Special thanks to her grandson Matthew for selflessly caring for Linda in the last few years of her life.

The family will receive visitors at Platts funeral home on Belair Road January 17 from 5-7 pm. A Catholic Mass will be held at St. Teresa’s of Avila Catholic Church in Grovetown, GA, January 18 at 11 am with burial following at Westover Cemetery in Augusta, GA, with a reception following at the church.

Her legacy is one of love, and her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of her loved ones. Linda's unconditional love and the beautiful memories she created will continue to inspire and guide her family for generations to come. She will truly be missed.
