Leslie Joy Touchette

 Ms. Leslie Joy Touchette,79, entered into rest on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Doctors Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. Brandon Henson officiating.

Leslie was born in Augusta to the late Ernest Touchette and the late Mavis Washington Touchette. She graduated from Butler High School before earning her degree from Augusta College. After graduating, she went to work at Fort Gordon in administrative positions at various facilities all over the base before retiring.

She was an animal lover, having rescued many strays throughout the years. Leslie was a gardener and an avid reader, who loved spending time listening to music and playing cards. The laughter of our beloved sister and Auntie will be missed.

She is survived by her brother, Michael Touchette, her sister, Cheryl Graves (Bill), a niece, Sierra Kyser (Edward), a nephew, Will Graves (Brea), her great nieces, Eden Kyser and Sophia Graves, and a great nephew, Liam Graves. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mavis.
