Kenneth Wayne Johnson

February 27, 1970 — August 24, 2020

Kenneth Wayne Johnson, age 50 entered into eternal peace on Monday, August 24, 2020 at his residence.

Ken was a legend to all. He had an extremely deep passion for fishing and hunting. He was known for his ability to kill the trophy deer and catch the biggest fish, hunt down the best turkey, tree the most coons, and track down the wandering hog. Nothing stood in his way from being the best at whatever he put his mind to. Driven and determined to overcome the obstacles that stood in his way is what led him to become the legend we all knew him as.

He loved God, his family, Shine (his dog), and his friends. He was a friend to all who needed him; and, he was greatly admired and loved by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Shannon Johnson; father and mother, Wayne Johnson of Augusta and Barbara Allman of Thomson; beloved step-children, Jonathan Joyner (Kayla) of Augusta, Lindsay Cunningham (Shane) of Augusta, and Christian Joyner of Augusta; grandchildren, Khloe Joyner, Johnny Joyner, Baileigh Joyner, and Hannah Cunningham; siblings, Chris Allman of Thomson, Melissa Miller of Thomson, Justin Johnson (Stacy) of Augusta, and Jaime Brocato (Shane) of Waynesboro; mother-in-law, Terri Taylor (Terry) of Graniteville; father-in-law, Johnny Hutcheson (Deb) of Dearing; and his beloved and faithful canine companion, Shine.

Services were private.
