Kenneth L. Daniels

Mr. Kenneth L. Daniels, beloved husband of Lisa Daniels, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 19, 2023 in the chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Road with Pastor Chris Miller officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Daniels was a native of Dublin, Georgia. A graduate of Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, he furthered his education at Columbus State University, where he received his master’s in business. He retired in 2017 as the Managing Lab Director of the Eastern Regional Crime Lab for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation after 28 years of service.

Kenneth was active in several area churches, including Stevens Creek Church, Genesis Church and Warren Baptist Church. He was also involved in the Martinez Evans Little League, serving as president from 2004 until 2008, and served as a leader of the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.

In addition to his wife, Lisa, he is survived by his sons, Joshua (Elaine), Philip and Caleb Daniels, his mother, Ellen Daniels, brothers, Tim Daniels (Michelle), Tindel Daniels (Pamela) and Kindel Daniels (Michelle). He was also proud Papa to his granddaughter, Evelyn, who was the joy of his life. He also leaves behind numerous family members, including aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Owen Daniels.
