Jessie Mae Green

Mrs. Jessie Mae Green entered into rest on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 29, 2023 in the chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home on Belair Road, with Pastor Gene Brown officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery.

She is survived by her children; Roy Jones (Sharon), J.W. Jones (Judie), Danny Jones, Patricia Haywood (Danny) and Larry Jones (Marsha). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason, Marla, Jay Bird, Bobby, Craig, Tracy, Alicia, Leigh, Chris, Tammy and Dawn, as well as her granddaughter, Renee, who devoted a lot of time and passion to care for her Nanny. In addition, Mrs. Green has 19 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Jones.

Pallbearers will be Jay Bird Jones, Bobby Jones, Jason Jones, Chris Jones, Anderson Jones and Logan Chambers.
