Jessica Rae Schultz

June 22, 1981 — February 21, 2024

JESSICA RAE SCHULTZ (nee Bobinger), 42, of Harlem GA, entered into rest Feb. 21, 2024, at Wellstar MCG Health after a battle with T-Cell Lymphoma. Jessica was born June 22, 1981, at Doctors Hospital, Augusta, GA.

Jessica is preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Bobinger of St. Marys, GA, and is survived by her beloved husband, Dwayne Schultz; daughter, Emilie Bobinger; mother, Annette Berger (Don Hare); step-daughter, Laura Hillman (Brandon), step-grandchildren, Abbigayle & Harper Hillman, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Jessica never met a stranger! Wherever she went, she would always go away with a new friend. Jessica loved her family and friends deeply: always concerned for their well-being, putting them first in her thoughts, and bringing joy to all who knew her. Jessica loved Jesus, knew Him as her Lord and Savior, and was a long-time member of Stevens Creek Community Church in Martinez, GA. She was employed at Sig Cox Heating & Air for 13 years as an asst. bookkeeper.

Jessica had many passions in life. One was her husband and being her husband’s avid cheerleader: whether he was golfing, racing, or just washing the car! Jessica loved her daughter Emilie with all her heart and was very proud of her. Jessica also loved Georgia Bulldog Football and was a Foodie: always willing to try a new dish! She had a love for life that only could be surpassed by the joy she felt when she crossed into heaven.

Thank you to everyone that attended, visited, and loved Jessica. Special thanks to the 5TH Floor Nursing Staff, Techs, and housekeeping, her yoga group, and Gentivah Hospice. Jessica touched many with her will to fight and her grace under pressure and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Platt’s Funeral Home in Evans, GA on March 6, 2024, at 4PM. Visitation to follow. Dr. Martin Baker officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, LLS. Org. or to Stevens Creek Community Church, 600 Stevens Creek Rd, Martinz, GA, 30907.
