Harriet M. Peters

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Harriett Mavoureen Peters, age 87, wife of the late Albert Peters, entered into rest on January 12, 2008 at the Golden Living Center. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Robert W. Riley officiating. Survivors include two daughters, Joan Williams of Martinez and Nancy Peters Foss of Augusta; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four great-great- grandchildren. Mrs. Peters was retired from Sears & Roebuck, she was a member of Lake Park Baptist Church and the Marge Corry Sunday school class. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Golden Harvest Food Bank at 3310 Commerce Dr., Augusta, Ga. 30909. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday January 15, 2008 from 10:00 until 12:00 p.m.
