Clifford Abramson

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Clifford "Abe" Abramson age 61, entered into rest at the V.A. Medical Center in Augusta, GA on June 18, 2008. A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at the Pinetucky Gun Club in Augusta. Survivors include, three sons, Forrest Griffin of Las Vegas, NV, Robin Shellito and his wife Karen of Martinez, GA and Robert Shellito and his wife Nila of Augusta, GA.; One daughter, Michelle Edelmann of Martinez. Two sisters, Mary Joy Smith and Jane Slater and her husband Rick both of Syracuse, NY. Grandchildren, Ben and Brock Hughes, Taylor Shellito, Brittany James, Brendan and Ashley Lopez. Great grandchildren, Gabriel, Parker, Isaiah, and Camin Hughes. Two nieces, Amber Lusignan and Rachel Slater. And a long time companion, Paige O'Donnell Abe worked for Site Master as a estimator. He served in the U.S. Army, he was a decorated Vietnam War veteran, for his service he was awarded 2 Bronze Stars with a Ribbon of Valor and 3 Purple Hearts. Abe was a member of Pinetucky Gun Club, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, sailing and sport shooting.
