Carolyn W. Frazier

Carolyn Walden Frazier, 73, of Martinez, GA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on April 27, 2022.

She was born in Louisville, GA to Roy and Lucille Walden on April 20, 1949. She was educated at the Academy of Richmond County in Augusta, GA. She married the love of her life, Larry Lavorn Frazier, on July 5, 1970.

Carolyn was an in-home daycare provider for over 20 years. She is affectionately known as “Grandma Carolyn” to family, friends, the children she’s cared for and many others. She has been a member of BelAir Baptist Church for many years.

Carolyn is survived by son, Mark (Nikki) Frazier; daughter, Marcia (William) Jiminez; daughter in law, Tammy Frazier; grandchildren, Shawn Frazier, Madison Harrell, Allison Frazier, Lauren Frazier, Will Cruise, Reed Cruise and Dustin Nunley; brother, Troy (Juanita) Walden and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Erich Frazier; and brother, Benny Walden.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Frazier, Madison Harrell, Will Cruise, Reed Cruise, Aaron Walden and Christian Rowe.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Alzheimer’s Association in Carolyn’s honor.

The Frazier family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Trinity Hospice and the compassionate care of Kathy, Vera, Sandra and Chaplain Tom.

Visitation will be held at Platt’s Funeral Home 337 N. Bel Air Rd. Evans, GA 30809 on Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 6-8pm.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 2pm in the Chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home with Pastor David Brooks of BelAir Baptist Church officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens in Grovetown, GA.
